solid and liquid Permanganates for the elimination of odours in sewage treatment works.

Marked under the name Econox, this liquid Sodium product is rapidly superseding the position held for so many years by Potassium because of its effectiveness and ease of handling. Recent advances in the production technology have resulted in the manufacture of liquid Sodium Permanganate which may be used safely and easily and without the need for expensive dissolution equipment which is required when using the solid Potassium Permanganate.

Solid Potassium Permanganate is used for odour elimination normally associated with reducing compounds such as Sulphides, Mercaptens, Amines and D Phenolics found in sewage sludge.
