Biological Larvicide - Fly Control - Vectobac

VectoBac 12AS is a biological larvicide, it has been used for the control of Sewage Filter flies for the last 10 years. This can be a major nuisance problem to people living in close proximity to sewage works which use percolating filters as the major biological treatment process.

VectoBac is also used to control Mosquitoes, Chironomids and Blackfly emanating from stagnant water, marshland, transient rain pools, casual waters. and lakes. It has been identified as a key product in the control of West Nile Virus.

VectoBac 12AS is a Bacillus thuringiensis Var israelensis larvicide licensed for the above applications by the Health and Safety Executive under HSE NO 6205 and by the Pesticide Safety Directive for the use on Watercress and Organic Watercress to control Chironomid larvae.
